<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact tip 21 and a welding torch 20 capable of preventing seizure in a joining part wherein the contact tip 21 is screwed into a tip body 3. <P>SOLUTION: This contact tip 21 includes a screw part 23 made of iron and having a male screw threaded thereon, and a contact tip body 22 made of copper, and is screwed into an end of the tip body 3 in the welding torch 20, and a welding wire is inserted into a core part. An insertion hole 22d into which an end part 23a of the screw part is inserted is formed on a base end part 22b of the contact tip body, and after the end part 23a of the screw part is inserted into the insertion hole 22d, press-bonding is performed, and the screw part 23 is fixed to the contact tip body 22. When the screw part 23 is screwed into the end part 3a of the tip body, a surface of the base end part 22b of the contact tip body is abutted to a surface of the end part 3a of the tip body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
