The vibration drive (1) has a drive element (4) and a frictional output element (3) which is engaged with the drive element. One of the drive element and frictional output element is made of hard metal and other element is made of steel, in respective frictional contact portions (8,9). The hard metal containing element is comprised of tungsten carbide particles which are embedded in a nickel matrix. The steel containing element is comprised of nitrided surface. The hard metal is provided with 90% of particles and 10% of nickel.
