THIN FILM TYPE SOLAR CELL AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A thin film solar cell and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve light conversion efficiency by connecting semiconductor layers on both sides based on a second trench through a connection part. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of front electrodes is formed to be separated by a first trench. A first semiconductor layer(131) and a second semiconductor layer(132) are formed to be separated by a second trench(P2) which is contiguous to the first trench on the front electrode. A back contact electrode is formed on the second trench and semiconductor layer to be separated by the third trench which is contiguous to the second trench. The first and the second semiconductor layers are connected with s connection part(133) comprising a part of the semiconductor layers. A length(�� of the connection part is 1/10 or less of the length(L) of the third trench.
