<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED bulb with color rendering properties improved and glare reduced. <P>SOLUTION: The LED bulb 1 includes an LED module 2, a base body part 3 whereon the LED module 2 is arranged, and a globe 4 which is mounted on the base body part 3. The LED module 2 includes LED chips 8 mounted on a substrate 7 and emitting ultraviolet to violet light. The base body part 3 includes a lighting circuit and a base 6. A fluorescent film 9 is provided on an inner surface of the globe 4 for absorbing the ultraviolet to violet light emitted from the LED chips and emitting white light. The fluorescent film 9 has a film thickness in the range of 80-800 μm. An amount of UV rays which leaks out from the globe 4 in the LED bulb 1 is not greater than 0.1 mW/nm/lm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
