<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an EL display device that utilizes a light-emitting material with high reliability, and that prevents luminance from decreasing as a result of blocking the light having the other wavelengths, in the case of extracting any of red, blue, and green light from a white light-emitting EL element. <P>SOLUTION: A color filter for extracting red light is correspondingly disposed so as to overlap with an EL element which emits the red light. A color filter for extracting green light is correspondingly disposed so as to overlap with an EL element which emits the green light. A color filter for extracting blue light is correspondingly disposed so as to overlap with an EL element which emits the blue light. By provision of a filler material including a thermosetting resin or a ultraviolet curable resin between these EL elements and the color filters, the EL elements are sealed by the filler material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
