<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce overlapping of inrush currents in a communication system comprising a server and a plurality of devices by controlling the power status of each device in accordance with an instruction from the server. <P>SOLUTION: The sever includes assigning means assigning any one of a plurality of periodically repeated time zones to each of a plurality of devices, and notifying means notifying the assigned time zone to each of the plurality of devices. Each of the plurality of devices has control means which, when a condition pre-set to each of the plurality of devices to turn on the device is satisfied and the time zone satisfying the condition is the time zone notified by the notifying means, controls the device to be turned on in accordance with the condition being satisfied and, when the condition is satisfied and the time zone satisfying the condition is not the notified time zone, controls the device to be turned on in accordance with the notified time zone being after satisfying the condition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
