<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device with resistance against the strain applied from the outside. <P>SOLUTION: A display device comprises: a substrate with a flat plane including a side in a first direction and a side in a second direction that is longer than the side in the first direction; a display portion on the substrate; and a display driver circuit for driving the display portion on the substrate, which includes a gate driver circuit formed using a thin film transistor, and a data driver circuit configured using an integrated circuit provided for a semiconductor substrate.
