<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply protective circuit capable of completely protecting a power circuit and a load circuit connected to the power circuit and of supplying electric power without delay when an abnormal state is returned to a normal state. <P>SOLUTION: A power supply protective circuit 14 for overcurrent includes a detection circuit for detecting an overcurrent and a control circuit which shuts down a power supply when an overcurrent is detected during power supply and which runs an electric current instantaneously and intermittently at intervals of predetermined period until the overcurrent is returned to a normal current.
