<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor-standing air conditioner reliably treating condensed water with a pipe cover particularly attached to a heat exchanger having a front face facing downward. <P>SOLUTION: The floor-standing air conditioner includes: a body having a suction grille and an air outlet part; the heat exchanger which is located in the body and is arranged in such a manner that its front face faces downward; a condensed water pan located below the heat exchanger; the pipe cover which guides the condensed water dropping from a pipe located on the end part of the heat exchanger to the condensed water pan; and an indoor fan which delivers indoor air which is heat-exchanged with the heat exchanger, from the air outlet part. The pipe cover is located between the pipe and the front face of the body, a surface of the pipe cover which faces the pipe functions as a gutter and, thereby, the condensed water dropping from the pipe is guided to the condensed water pan, wherein a notched hole is not formed on the surface which faces the pipe, of the pipe cover. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
