<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a security system using a wireless sensor that starts a reception function of a transmission/reception unit connected to the sensor at a time interval specified by a security device and executes control so as to check a state of the sensor to enable early detection of a failure or the like in the sensor. <P>SOLUTION: A transmission/reception unit is in a receivable state at a time specified by a security device. When receiving a request signal from the security device, the transmission/reception unit checks whether a sensor is normal or not, and then, transmits a confirmation signal to the security device.
