<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television signal reception system. <P>SOLUTION: A television signal reception system includes a deinterleaving network (18). The deinterleaving network includes a first and second deinterleaving functions related to respective memory controllers (20, 25). In response to a Deinterleaver Select (deinterleaver selection) control signal, one or the other deinterleaving function is selected by a multiplexer (30) and used.
