<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor capable of inhibiting vibration in a muffler and reducing noise. <P>SOLUTION: An intermediate end plate member 70 is sandwiched between first and second cylinders 121 and 221. Thus, rigidity of the intermediate end plate member 70 is improved. Since the intermediate end plate member 70 includes a second muffler chamber 242, the muffler can be structured of the intermediate end plate member 70 improved in rigidity.
