<p>The present invention relates to a system and method for printing or scanning an electronic document. A policy-based process server being connected with a multifunctional device for scanning and printing and with a print server, which analyses if persons related to the electronic document are allowed to use the electronic document and if the electronic document may contain predefined contents, and in case a person is not allowed to use the electronic document or the electronic document embodied predefined contents, the processing of the electronic document on the print server is blocked.</p> |
