PURPOSE: A planar transformer is provided to slim a power supply device including the planar transformer. CONSTITUTION: A core(102) is formed to induce a magnetic field. A bobbin(104) including a bobbin groove is coupled with the core. At least one primary winding unit(106) is provided between the core and the bobbin groove to supply a power signal. A first insulation unit is provided to at least one primary winding unit to insulate the primary winding unit. At least one secondary winding unit(110) is provided to a first insulation unit. The secondary winding unit is insulated by the first insulation unit and transforms a power signal. A second insulation unit(112) is provided to at least secondary winding unit for insulating at least one secondary winding unit.
