HIGH-LUMINANCE PHOSPHOR AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-luminance phosphor with the high activity of an activator, and a method of manufacturing the same.

SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing a high-luminance phosphor includes: a step in which a precursor of a high-luminance phosphor containing a compound of the second group element and/or the group 12 element and the group 16 element having a crystal structure of a cubic crystal into a container (step S1); a step in which the container is heated (step S2); and a step in which a shock wave is given from the perimeter of the container (step S3).
