<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink set which has satisfactory light resistance and ozone resistance, can record an image having an excellent color balance, and has excellent ink storage stability. <P>SOLUTION: The ink set includes at least a yellow ink composition, a magenta ink composition, and a cyan ink composition, wherein the yellow ink composition contains as a colorant at least one selected from the group consisting of a compound represented by general formula (Y-I) and a salt thereof, where R<SB POS="POST">4</SB>represents a monovalent group; R<SB POS="POST">5</SB>represents -OR<SB POS="POST">6</SB>or -NHR<SB POS="POST">7</SB>; each of R<SB POS="POST">6</SB>and R<SB POS="POST">7</SB>represents a hydrogen atom or a monovalent group; X<SB POS="POST">3</SB>represents a divalent linking group; n<SB POS="POST">3</SB>represents 0 or 1; Ar<SB POS="POST">3</SB>represents a divalent heterocyclic group; and Ar<SB POS="POST">4</SB>represents an alkyl group, an aryl group, or a monovalent triazine ring group. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
