<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a socket capable of ensuring connection of a ground pin with a ground terminal and capable of preventing dropout of the ground pin. <P>SOLUTION: A socket 16 is provided with a socket body 41 having a ground pin mounting opening installed in the front face and having an insertion groove 49 installed from the end surface intersecting the front face to the ground pin mounting opening in the front face. A ground pin 28 of a straight tube-type lamp is inserted from the insertion groove 49 in the end surface of the socket body 41 while a shank 29 of the ground pin 28 is inserted in the ground pin mounting opening from the insertion groove 49 in the front face of the socket body 41, and the ground pin 28 is rotated about a tube axis of the straight tube-type lamp to be mounted to the socket 16. Moreover, the socket 16 is provided with a rotation regulation part 71 for permitting rotation of the ground pin 28 of which the shank 29 is inserted in the ground pin mounting opening of the socket body 41 and for regulating rotation of the ground pin 28 in a state of being positioned in the insertion groove 49 in front of the position where the shank 29 is inserted in the ground pin mounting opening of the socket body 41. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
