<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of executing communication for each function according to an optimal priority in accordance with a communication situation. <P>SOLUTION: A multifunctional machine determines different priority tables PT1 to PT3 depending on whether a present communication situation is satisfactory, ordinary, or defective, and puts priority to transmission of a packet for a function with higher priority over that of a packet for a function with lower priority according to the determined priority tables PT1 to PT3.
