<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side-fence spacer which can be easily attached to a conventional side fence and easily handled after the attachment. <P>SOLUTION: The side-fence spacer 1 is attached to a corner part of a side fence 23 in a bed 2 having a frame 20, a head board 21, a foot board 22, and the side fence 23. The side-fence spacer 1 includes: a pair of holding portions 1a to hold the corner part between them; and an extending portion 1b formed so as to extend, relative to a holding portion 1a, in a direction away from the holding portion 1a. On at least one inner face of the holding portion 1a, a guide is formed as a recessed part for fitting the corner part therein, to narrow a gap between the side fence 23 and the head board 21 or between the side fence and the foot board 22, and a gap between adjacent side fences 23. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
