<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereoscopic image display device suppressing mixing of display images for a left eye direction and a right eye direction and being usable in the lengthwise direction and the crosswise direction displaying a comfortable stereoscopic image. <P>SOLUTION: A parallax barrier comprising transmission parts 12 and non-transmission parts 13 that are aligned in front and rear of an image display device into a checker pattern is installed, and the dimension of the transmission part 12 is made smaller than that of the non-transmission part 13 to suppress the mixing of the display images in the left eye direction and the right eye direction. The stereoscopic image display to be displayed on a display screen is defined as five to seven pixels in RGB direction and two pixels in RRR direction that are constitutional units of the left eye image and the right eye image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
