<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector to be fitted without warping a spring part of a female terminal and generating insertion force. <P>SOLUTION: A connector 11 includes: a female housing 15 to which a female terminal 13 is to be attached; a male housing 21 to which a male terminal 17 is to be attached; and a locking part 23 to be inserted into the male housing 15 in a direction orthogonal to the fitting direction to lock the female terminal 13. The female terminal 13 comprises a first box part 33 in which a spring part 35 is formed to be elastically connected to the male terminal 17 and a second box 25 in which a convex part 39 is formed to energize the male terminal 17 toward the spring part 35. The spring part 35 and the convex part 39 can switch between a tentatively-locked state in which they are separately placed from each other and a fully-locked state in which they are placed adjacent to each other. The locking part 23, when locked in a tentatively-locked position, enables the female terminal 13 to be attached to the female housing 15 and, when locked in a fully-locked position, turns the female terminal 13 in a tentatively-locked state to be in a fully-locked state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
