<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel cross-linking agent which can attain (1) polymer extension by living radical polymerization; (2) coupling with a functional group on a solid substrate surface; and (3) patterning by light irradiation. <P>SOLUTION: The photodegradable hetero divalent cross-linking agent includes an initiator group of living radical polymerization and a reactive group (except the initiating group) which are coupled through a photodegradable group, and is represented by [chemical formula 1], wherein I is the initiator group, R is the reactive group, D is a photodegradable group, S<SP POS="POST">1</SP><SB POS="POST">b</SB>-S<SP POS="POST">1</SP><SB POS="POST">a</SB>and S<SP POS="POST">2</SP><SB POS="POST">a</SB>-S<SP POS="POST">2</SP><SB POS="POST">b</SB>are each a spacer, and n and m are each independently 0 or 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
