<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly move a door even if the inclination of the door is small, in a showcase in which an opening of a display chamber, of which an opening edge on the back side is higher than that of the front side, is closed by a sliding door in an openable and closable manner. <P>SOLUTION: The showcase includes: rails 43 and 44 provided at opening edges on back and front sides; a cover 46 provided spacing a predetermined distance in an upper of each rail and defining door insertion spaces 47 and 48 opened in an opening direction of the display chamber 11 between each of the rails and the cover; sliding doors 36 and 37 whose upper and lower edges are inserted into each of the door insertion spaces and supported on each rail movably from side to side, and that close the opening of the display chamber in an openable and closable manner; and regulators 51 provided on the rails and regulating the vertical movement of the doors supported by the rails.
