<p>The fibrous or particulate mass is fed from the base of a hopper into a screw feed which connects perpendicularly with a duct connected at one end to the suction side of a blower, and at the other end with ambient air (pref. via a valve). The fibres are distributed from the blower outlet, the fibre mass flow rate being determined by the speed of the screw-feed. Fibre agglomerations are eliminated.</p> |
