PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To notify drivers of an oncoming vehicle and a following vehicle of the existence of an object that may potentially cause a trouble on the driving of the vehicle.

SOLUTION: A lighting fixture system 10 for a vehicle includes: a lighting fixture unit 30 for lateral irradiation which can emit light toward a side area of the vehicle; an object detection unit 16 for detecting the object that lies on a forward area of the vehicle and may potentially cause a trouble on the driving of the vehicle; and a control unit 20 for controlling the lighting fixture unit 30 for lateral irradiation so as to emit light to the object in passing by the object when the object is detected by the object detection unit 16.
