<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine support structure which can improve energy absorbing efficiency in a vehicle body skeleton frame to collision input in the vehicle front-back direction. <P>SOLUTION: The engine supporting structure includes: a vehicle body skeleton frame 1 which has a front framework side member 2 which extends to a vehicle front-back direction; a sub-frame 3 which is arranged under the vehicle body skeleton frame 1 and supports an engine 7; and a connecting member 5 which connects the front framework side member 2 and the sub-frame 3. About binding force in a rotating direction centering on the vehicle width direction, the binding force in a connection part of a front framework side member 2 and a connecting member 5 is made smaller than the binding force in the connection part of the sub-frame and the connecting member 5 by connecting the front framework side member 2 and an upper part of the connecting member 5 through an insulator 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
