<p>The present invention relates to a method for producing a composition in the form of pelletized granules based on spores of endomycorrhizal fungi coated with mineral clays and binders with calcium sulphate monohydrate, and the composition thus obtained for use in agriculture. Said composition undergoes a process of dry-mixing, pelletization, drying and screening, which confers thereon relevant properties for application thereof in agriculture. This coating and granulation process protects the microorganisms from adverse environmental conditions and confers thereon high resistance to mechanical damage that might occur during the handling thereof, and likewise protects them against drastic changes in temperature, thereby preventing the dehydration and/or death thereof. Said process also avoids direct exposure of the microorganisms to fungicides that might destroy them and prevents contamination with parasites or any harmful agent. In addition to the benefits described above, the method results in a product that is easy and practical to handle during application thereof in agriculture, either alone or mixed with fertilizer, and owing to the particle size and hardness thereof makes it possible to obtain homogeneous mixtures without degradation to powder form, thereby saving time, manpower and costs. This is a highly effective and versatile product.</p> |
