A four-wheel-drive vehicle is provided with a driving force transmission system which transmits the torque of a driving source to front wheels and rear wheels via a plurality of gear mechanisms, a clutch which is provided in the driving force transmission system and can control the amount of torque transmission to the rear wheel side, and a pressing mechanism which converts part of the torque to be transmitted to the rear wheel side into axial thrust and presses the clutch. In the driving force transmission system, the gear ratio between the plurality of gear mechanisms is set such that the differential rotation directions of a driving shaft coupled to the input side of the clutch and a driving shaft coupled to the output side thereof are not reversed even when the steering angle of the front wheels is changed to the maximum value during forward traveling.
