PURPOSE: Non-aqueous electrolyte is provided to improve stability in solid electrolyte interface membrane formed on the surface of negative electrode, and improving high temperature cycle properties and room temperatures cycle properties. CONSTITUTION: Non-aqueous electrolyte for a lithium secondary battery comprising lithium salt and organic solvent comprises 1-5 parts by weight of a sultone based compound having a carbon-carbon unsaturated bond in ring, 1-5 parts by weight of cyclic carbonate compound having a vinyl group, 5-10 parts by weight of cyclic carbonate compound substituted by halogen, and 1-5 parts by weight of a dinitrille based compound, on the basis of 100.0 parts by weight of whole non-aqueous electrolyte. The lithium secondary battery comprises a positive electrode consisting of lithium-containing oxide, a negative electrode consisting of carbon material capable of charging and discharging lithium ion, and the non-aqueous electrolyte. |
