<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To receive a television broadcast with excellent reception quality at places where a television broadcast radiowave is weak, and, when nobody is viewing the television broadcast, reduce wasteful power consumption by stopping transmission of the television broadcast, and effectively utilize the radiowave by releasing a band. <P>SOLUTION: A TV tuner unit 16 receives television broadcast contents from a broadcast station, and a format conversion unit 17 converts received television broadcast information into a format for transmission via a mobile communication network. Wireless units 11 and 12 transmit the television broadcast contents converted in the format conversion unit 17 in a broadcast.
