<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quality determination technology of aluminium alloy capable of achieving a horizontal recycling of a high-quality aluminum alloy expanded material as it is as the expanded material and efficiently using it for energy saving and resource saving. <P>SOLUTION: This method for determining the quality of the aluminium alloy includes at least one of the following material determinations: (A) applying two or more X rays with different intensities separately to the aluminium alloy, or a measurement object, measuring a transmission X-ray intensity, acquiring a value of an attenuation coefficient ratio from the measured value, and determining the quality of the aluminum alloy based on the acquired value of the ratio; and (B) forming an eddy current on the aluminium alloy, or the measurement object, using an eddy-current probe, detecting the formed eddy current, acquiring an impedance of the aluminium alloy by the eddy current from the detection result and determining the quality of the aluminium alloy based on the acquired impedance value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
