<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a socket which allows users to easily carry out assembly work without paying special attention to a door body during assembly. <P>SOLUTION: A socket comprises: an upper body 4 and a lower body 2 having contact piece receiving parts 6 and 7 with which contact pieces are brought into contact conduction; a cover 3 mounted above the upper body 4 and provided with insertion holes 30 to 32 to which the contact pieces are inserted; and a door body 5 which is freely slidable between an opening position and a closing position of the insertion holes 30 and 31. The upper body 4 comprises: a rail 43 for sliding the door body 5 in the front/rear direction; a return spring 55 for biasing the door body 5 to the closing position; and a holding part 45 for holding the door body 5 on the upper body 4 in a freely slidable state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
