<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate welding of a twisted plate into a heat transfer tube, even when the heat transfer tube is finely composed. <P>SOLUTION: A heat exchanger 1 includes a cylindrical shell 5, a heat transfer tube 2 arranged along an axial direction of the shell 5, a twisted plate 22 inserted in the interior of the heat transfer tube 2, and a header wall surface 41 which is attached in the vicinity of an end of the heat transfer tube 2 and which forms a space of a header 3 on both sides of the shell 5. A heat exchanger manufacturing method includes: a step of inserting the heat transfer tube 2 into a plurality of insertion holes 43 of the header wall surface 41; a step of pouring a welding material 7 to an opening 21 of the end of the heat transfer tube 2 from the opposite side of the header wall surface 41; and a step of welding the inside of the heat transfer tube 2 with the twisted plate 22, by impregnating the welding material 7 coming along the side of the heat transfer tube 2 from the insertion hole 43 of the header wall surface 41, and also by sneaking the welding material into a gap with the twisted plate 22 from the opening 21 of the end of the heat transfer tube 2 using a capillary phenomenon. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
