<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll compressor capable of improving reliability, by preventing jumping-out of a spring of a check valve from a suction passage in reverse rotation operation, crushing of the spring by the check valve and rubbing between an inner peripheral surface of the check valve and an outer peripheral surface of the spring. <P>SOLUTION: The spring 15 (an outer diameter doa on the check valve side 15a, an outer diameter dob on the seating surface side 15b, an inner diameter dia on the check valve side 15a and an inner diameter dib on the seating surface side 15b), and the check valve 14 (an inner diameter Di, an outer diameter Do and the cup depth h) arranged in the scroll compressor 100, satisfy both expressions 1 and 2, and a height H of a projection part 1e arranged in the suction passage 11 satisfies expression 3.
