The shaft bearing has an axial end element with an axial recess for receiving of axial end of a shaft of a gear box. A sliding metal sheet (110) bears front-side of the end of the shaft in axial direction. The sliding metal sheet has locking elements (140,150) for fastening at the end element in radial direction and axial direction.
