PURPOSE: A planar transformer is provided to improve the efficiency of transformation and reduce manufacturing costs. CONSTITUTION: A planar transformer(100) includes a core(102), a bobbin(104), at least one primary winding unit(106), and at least one secondary winding unit(110). The core includes a first coupling unit. The bobbin is coupled with the core through a first coupling unit. The core includes a top core(102c) and a bottom core(102b). The bobbin includes a second coupling unit(104a) separated from the first coupling unit. The primary winding unit is provided between the core and the bobbin and includes a metal thin film pattern layer with inductance element. The secondary winding unit is formed on the upper side of a first silicon layer(106a).
