IMAGE PROCESSING SYSTEM AND IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system that allows easy adjustment of the position of two images and deforms one of the two images to allow image composition to comply with the rotation of an image pickup device that rotates with various linear lines as axes.

SOLUTION: One of two images is specified as a reference image, and the other image is specified as a comparison image. Multiple measurement points FP1 to FP24 are set so as to be dispersed to the entire area of the reference image. Multiple moving points SP1 to SP24 that correspond to the measurement points FP1 to FP24 are detected in the comparison image. The comparison image is divided into multiple rectangular partial images having peaks of which coordinates are the same as the respective measurement points. Deformed partial images are created by moving the peaks of the respective partial images to the moving points to deform the partial images PA1 to PA15. A coupled image is created by coupling all the deformed partial images so that the common moving points coincide at the same position.
