<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video information distribution system in which convenience is enhanced and the use thereof is promoted. <P>SOLUTION: A video information distribution system 10 comprises: contribution acceptance control means 152 which causes contributed video information to be stored in a video database 68; collaboration video editing control means 164 which causes collaboration video information edited by combining a plurality of pieces of information received by the contribution acceptance control means 152 to be stored in the video database 68; video distribution control means 158 which distributes, according to a distribution request, at least one of the video information and the collaboration video information stored in the video database 68 and related to the distribution request; and map information distribution control means 166 which distributes map information 192 and the like including information on a region corresponding to the collaboration video information.
