<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallic can with a good design property. <P>SOLUTION: One or a plurality of unit emboss patterns 1A are formed on an outer circumference surface 11a of a can barrel 11 of the metallic can 10. The unit emboss pattern 1A includes: an outermost circumference fold line 2 which is formed on an outer circumference edge of the unit emboss pattern 1A and defines the unit emboss pattern 1A; a first cell surface 3 which is arranged approximately in parallel to a reference outer circumference surface 11z of the can barrel 11 in a center part on an inner side of the outermost circumference fold line 2; a first fold line 4 formed on an outer circumference edge of the first cell surface 3; and a plurality of second cell surfaces 5 which are arranged on an outer side of the first fold line 4 on an inner side of the outermost circumference fold line 2 and arranged side by side in a circumferential direction of the first cell surface 3 in such a manner as to surround the first cell surface 3.
