<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake system of an internal combustion engine including a low-speed intake passage and a high-speed intake passage, which can smoothly intake the air from the low-speed intake passage without using an open/close valve. <P>SOLUTION: In the intake system, the high-speed intake passage 53 and the low-speed intake passage 54 are connected with a throttle body so that at least part of contours C1 and C2 of apertures of the high-speed intake passage 53 and the low-speed intake passage 54 on a throttle body (first and second downstream apertures 68 and 69) side overlap on a projection plane D1 in a direction of an axis line L2 of an intake path in the throttle body when viewed from the axis line L2 of the intake path. A center point P1 of the first downstream aperture 68 of the high-speed intake passage 53 is positioned on one of sides across a virtual line L4 extending in a radial direction of the intake path on the projection plane D1 in the direction of the axis line L2 of the intake path, and a center point P2 of the second downstream aperture 69 of the low-speed intake passage 54 is positioned on the other side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
