<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit the accurate positioning of an ear type clinical thermometer to be carried out easily by the tactile sense of a finger and the accurate positioning of a probe to be carried out easily by giving a sense of unity to the probe and a measurer's finger by making the probe a type to be mounted on the measurer's finger and transmitting contact between the tip of the probe and the skin of the ear of a subject as the tactile sense of the measurer's finger. <P>SOLUTION: The measurer integrates the ear type clinical thermometer with the finger by putting his index finger on a surface 112 and wrapping mounting strips 106 and 107 around the middle joint of the finger. Pressure sensors 110a to 110d are provided in the vicinity of the tip of the probe. When detecting the contact by the sensors, the thermometer drives applicable vibrating elements from among vibrating elements 111a to 111d abutting on the finger. As a result, the clinical thermometer transmits the contact between the tip of the probe and the skin of the ear of the subject as the tactile sense of the measurer's finger to the measurer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
