<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulse wave analyzer capable of appropriately averaging pulse wave signals and a blood pressure estimator using the pulse wave analyzer. <P>SOLUTION: A controller acquires signals from a pulse wave sensor and an electrocardiogram sensor (S2). Next, the electrocardiogram signals are processed by a low pass filter of 20 Hz (S3), and a peak point of an R wave is detected (S4). On the basis of the peak point of the R wave, a reference point which divides individual pulse wave signals in every beat from pulse wave signal is defined and a plurality of individual pulse wave signals are cut out (S6). These individual pulse wave signals are added and averaged to calculate a reference pulse wave (S7), and the blood pressure value is estimated from the reference pulse wave. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
