<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately perform inventory control for work machines at storage locations that store the work machines. <P>SOLUTION: An inventory control system 1 for work machines 2 is provided with: a management server 5 that performs inventory control for work machines 2 placed at storage locations; storage-location terminals 6, each of which notifies the management server 5 of the inventory status of work machines 2 placed at the storage location for work machines 2; and work-machine wireless terminals 7, each of which is provided in a work machine 2 and transmits information on the work machine 2 to the management server 5 over a network 26. The management server 5 is provided with: an inventory-status computation means 40 that determines the inventory statuses of work machines 2 put at each storage location on the basis of information on the work machines 2 received from the work-machine wireless terminals 7; and an inventory-status cross-check means 41 that cross-checks the notified inventory statuses transmitted by the storage-location terminals with the computed inventory statuses. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
