<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gate drive circuit that can be inexpensively IC-packaged owing to a reduced capacitor capacity. <P>SOLUTION: The gate drive circuit includes: a first capacitor C1 connected at one end to a positive electrode of a DC power supply V1 via a starting resistor R1; a first switch Q3 having a first electrode connected to the one end of the first capacitor, a second electrode grounded to a negative electrode of the DC power supply, and a first control electrode; a second switch Q4 having a third electrode connected to the second electrode of the first switch and grounded to the negative electrode of the DC power supply, a fourth electrode connected to the other end of the first capacitor, and a second control electrode; a second capacitor C2 connected in parallel to the third electrode and fourth electrode of the second switch and grounded at one end to the negative electrode of the DC power supply; and a negative voltage control section Q1, Q2 for connecting a gate of a switching element to the other end of the first capacitor and the other end of the second capacitor to apply a negative voltage to the gate of the switching element when turning off the switching element according to a pulse signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
