<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an action for an upright piano capable of adjusting energizing force of a butt spring to a butt. <P>SOLUTION: A butt flange 40 is formed with a main body 41 and a two-pronged part 42. One end of a butt flange cord 7 is fixed to one of the two-pronged part 42, a thread hole 40c is provided at the other side of the two-pronged part 42, and the butt flange cord 7 inserted into the thread hole 40c is taken up and fixed by a take-up screw 40d provided in the main body 41. In the action, one end of the butt flange cord 7 is taken up by the take-up screw 40d to adjust the length of a hook part of the butt flange cord 7 while being fixed to the butt flange 40. The adjusting the length of the hook part can thus adjust the energizing force by which the butt spring hooked to the hook part energizes the butt. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
