<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic sensor device capable of accurately detecting malfunction. <P>SOLUTION: In a first magnetic sensor IC1, a malfunction determination section 24 determines occurrence of malfunction in any one of a main magnetic sensor 10 and first and second sub magnetic sensors 11 and 12, based on a comparison between a shift signal 1b obtained by adjusting a shift side linear output signal 10a output from the main magnetic sensor 10 with voltage V<SB POS="POST">ref</SB>and first and second offset signals 16a and 19a output from the first and second sub magnetic sensors 11 and 12 and offset referring to the shift side linear output signal 10a.
