<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of outputting an image having high color reproducibility by accurately reproducing the density of each final color toner image on a recording material, even when toner consumption is varied due to a combination, in a developing device of each color. <P>SOLUTION: A toner electrification amount is calculated based on an image ratio, a transfer current is calculated from the toner electrification amount, and re-transfer efficiency in an image forming part on the downstream side is calculated from the toner electrification amount and the transfer current of a downstream station. Then, a development contrast in the developing device of the image forming part on the upstream side and a lookup table of an exposure device are changed so as to offset the change of the re-transfer efficiency, so that the placed toner amount of a toner image formed on the upstream side is adjusted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
