摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water heater system equipped with a water heater 1 and a CO detector 2, in which a CO sensor performs self diagnosis so as not to interfere with operation of the water heater 1, while ensuring reliability of the CO detector 2 and improving usability. <P>SOLUTION: A combustion control part 10 of the water heater 1 is connected to the CO detector 2. In the water heater 1, the combustion control part 10 controls, in response to an operation to a hot water supply switch 20, a combustion device 30, a supply valve 40, and a combustion fan 50. The CO concentration in the exhaust gas generated by the combustion device 30 is detected with the CO detector 2. The combustion control part 10 outputs a state signal L during combustion to the CO detector 2, while outputs a state signal H during non-combustion. The CO detector 2 prohibits self diagnosis of the CO sensor 23 during the state signal L, while performs self-diagnosis of the CO sensor 23 when the state signal reaches H. An operation time zone of the water heater 1 is learned with the CO sensor 23, and self-diagnosis is performed in the time zone other than the operation time zone. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
