<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic atomizer capable of further downsizing of the whole device and saving energy while holding cooling capacity for generating dew condensation water on a discharge electrode. <P>SOLUTION: Charged particulate water is generated by applying voltage to the dew condensation water generated by cooling the discharge electrode 1 in the electrostatic atomizer. A conductive elastic body 3 is joined to each of a pair of thermoelectric elements 2 provided to cool the discharge electrode 1 and an electricity channel between the thermoelectric element 2 and the discharge electrode 1 is formed via the elastic body 3. By current application to the electricity channel, both of cooling of the discharge electrode 1 by the thermoelectric element 2 and application of voltage to the discharge electrode 1 are carried out. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
