<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a configuration which allows photographing with an X-ray CT apparatus to be comfortable. <P>SOLUTION: This X-ray CT apparatus is provided with a top board for placing a subject thereon. A movement mechanism moves the top board in each of the x direction, the y direction and the z direction. A recording section records orbit information indicating an orbit where the top board is moved, and movement conditions when the top board is moved along the orbit. A computing section computes top board movement information in each of the x direction, the y direction and the z direction for moving the top board according to the movement conditions along the orbit, on the basis of the orbit information and the movement conditions.
